Raise the Dead
To bring a character back to life you need a character with a checkmark as a spell. Go to the map, move your cursor over the character with the checkmark, keep select pressed and then continue pressing B until the checkmark flashes. Then press select and A and a screen will appear with every dead character you have. Select one and choose any free space of your land to put him/her on.
WARNING: When a character is brought back to life, he/she has very little power. Bring them to a castle to restore their life as soon as possible!
