Celebi as rental:
Unlock Round 2 to access Celebi as a rental Pokemonin the Prime Cup competition.
Farfetchd with Baton Pass move:
Win the Rival Cup to get a Farfetchd that knows theBaton Pass move.
Gligar with Earthquake move:
Win the Rival Cup in Round 2 to get a Gligar that knowsthe Earthquake move.
Alternate title screen:
Win all the Stadium Cups in Round 1 to have more Pokemonappear at the title screen. Win all the Stadium Cups in Round2 for another variation.
Alternate Pokemon colors:
Name your Pokemon with reversed name or one that includespart of their original name. For example, Two-mew for Mewtwo orBuzzy for Electabuzz. They will have a different tint or color.
Name your Mewtwo "PSYCO" (case-sensitive) and it willhave a dark blue belly.
Name your Mewtwo "mewish" (case-sensitive) and it willhave a red belly.
Name a Geodude "GEOdude" (case sensitive), and it willhave green skin.
With Pokemon Yellow, name a Pikachu "Bolter"(case-sensitive) and its skin will be slightly greener.
Name your Pikachu "Sparkstorm" (case-sensitive) to makeits color slightly greener.
Name your Mewtwo "Mewtstorm" (case-sensitive) to turnit a red/pink color.
Name your Dragonair "Airstorm" (case-sensitive) to makeit a lighter blue.
Name your Haunter "Hauntstorm" (case sensitive) to turnit brighter purple and make its tongue orange
Name your Zapdos "Dostorm" (case-sensitive) to makeit a darker yellow (almost orange).
Name your Articuno "Cunostorm" (case-sensitive) to turnit a darker blue and its eyes orange.
Doduo and Dodrio modes:
Defeat the trainers in either the Gym Leader Castleor get all of the trophies in the Round One Stadium to unlockthe Doduo Tower to play your Pokemon Red, Blue,and Yellow versions twice as fast. Once you defeat everyonein White City except your Rival and the Pokemon Academy, you willunlock the Dodrio Tower to play your Pokemon Red, Blue,and Yellow versions four times as fast. Follow the samesteps in Round Two to play your Pokemon Gold and Silverversions two or four times their normal speeds. Note: When youearn the towers in Round Two for Pokemon Gold and Silver,the game will not tell you that it has been unlocked. Additionally,when you play Pokemon Gold or Silver on one of thehigher speeds it will be in black and white.
Rival Cup:
Win all the Stadium Cups and defeat all the Gym LeaderCastle trainers to unlock the Rival Cup competition. Your rivalsteam consists of Mewtwo, Ho-oh and Lugia.
Round-2:
Win the Rival Cup.
Super Hard mini-game difficulty:
Defeat the CPU in a seven-coin mini-game under thehard difficulty setting.
Move rememberer:
Defeat the Elite Four in the Johto Gym Leader Castle.You have to win the Castle with a team of your own, with no rentalsor registered Pokemon. When you win you will be able to teachone Pokemon on your team a past move that they forgot or neverlearned. That is how you can get Pokemon such as Mewtwo to learnConfusion, or Zapdos to learn Peck. You can do this as many timesas needed.
Kanto Gym Leader tower:
Successfully complete the Johto Gym Leader tower.
Passing Earls Pokemon Academy battles:
Read the lectures, then pass his test. After that isdone, and before battle, read the hint. It will tell you whatyou need to do in order to pass the battle with a star. For example,to battle Lass Nancy in round one, you need to use Pokemon withsupport moves, as Earl says in his hint for Lass Nancy. This meansyou may want to use Noctowl for Foresight, Golbat for Haze, andEevee for Swift, since Swift can never miss. You do not have touse the support move necessarily, just the Pokemon that has it.
