While at bat, pause the game and press B, Y, B, Y, Select. (Note: This cheat only works with power hitters.)
Random pitches
While at bat, pause the game and press L, Y, A, Right, Select. (Note: Cheat only lasts as long as the current batter is at bat.)
Super pitching
While playing 2P mode, pause the game and press B, A, Left (x2), Select. (Note: Cheat only lasts as long as the current batter is at bat.)
Super batting
While at bat, pause the game and press A, Right, Down, Left, A, Down. Players will have maximum abilities. (Note: Cheat lasts for part of an inning.)
Hidden teams
Press A, B, X, Y, Up, Down, Select at the title screen. More teams will appear, resulting in longer seasons.
Toggle day and night
While playing outdoors, pause game and press Down, A, Y, Select.
Slower opponent
While at bat, pause the game and press Left, A, Right, Down, Y. (Note: Cheat lasts for part of an inning.)
Clumsy opponent
While playing, pause the game and press A, B, R, L, Y, A, Select to make members of the opposing team error prone.
View ending sequence
Press B, A, Down, B, Up, B (x2), A at the title screen to see the World Series celebration.
