This time around Snake will not only face platoons of heavily armed enemy guards, he will have to battle the elements and keep himself well nourished as he navigates the wilderness. Get ready for a new style of game play, you wont be able to rely on the ever present radar from the previous installments to warn Snake of impending danger. Cheat: Prison Cell
When the clip in the torture room ends, The Sorrow is in the background holding a sign that reads 144.75. Put that code into your radio when you’re in the prison cell. It unlocks the door! That’s pretty good for a girl who just watches her boyfriend play video games all day long!
Another way to escape the prison cell Snake is being held in is to go into the menu and do the Snake viewer and start spinning him around. When you return to the game Snake should puke on the ground, the guard sees this and comes in, giving Snake the opportunity to knock him out.
Cheat: Hidden Pictures
When “fighting” the Sorrow take pictures of the bosses as they appear and you will see ghostly images of the MGS 3 team.
Hint: Alt. Ocelot Video
At the end of the game when Ocelot tell you to choose a gun you can make him angry by not choosing one but when your done angering him go ahead and choose one. Dont pull the trigger and wait for him pull the trigger 6 times. Youll get a different cinematic ending.
Unlockable: Monkey Mask
Get the five best times in Snake Vs. Ape to unlock the monkey mask.
Unlockable: Nightmare Mini-Game
After Snakes torture, you can save the game. If you load this save in another game, a sword fighting mini-game will begin.

Unlockable: Moss Camouflage
When fighting The End, if you sneak up behind him when he is asleep and hold him up, he shakes down and will eventually give you the camouflage moss.
Unlockable: EZ Gun
Capture all 47 plants and animals to unlock the EZ gun in the game.
Unlock Killing Mini-Game
Once you get thrown in prison after being tortured save the game and turn off your PS2. The dialogue from the save chick will have something along the lines of, "Ive got a bad feeling about saving here". Quit out, then load the game once more and you will end up playing some random killing game.
Unlockable: Metal Gear Acid
On the first floor of the Graniny Gorki Lab, interrogate the guard in the lobby three times and he will give you a code for the PSP game Metal Gear Acid. The code word is from Zone of the Enders II and it is JEHUTY

Unlockable: Mosin Nagant
When you fight The End, beat him using only the MK22. You will get his Sniper Rifle, the Mosin Nagant.
Hint: Torch Guards
Sneak up on a guard, go into first person view and look down so that the torch is in the body of the guard. 3-4 seconds later and hes dead!
Unlock Stealth Camouflage (Alternate)
An alternate way to unlock the stealth camouflage is to clear the game without sounding a single alert.
